Savouring the flavour of Malta

Earlier this month, Spice PR hosted a group of editors and journalists on a gastronomy trip to Malta, staying at the stylish Phoenicia Hotel in Valletta, supported by the Malta Tourism Authority.

The group enjoyed a tour of Phoenicia Hotel’s new kitchen garden, which provides a sustainable supply of fresh herbs and vegetables for the hotel’s acclaimed Pegasus restaurant, with a demonstration by head chef Saul Halevi.

In addition, we sampled local wines at Le Meridiana winery, tasted authentic Maltese cuisine at Tarragon and Gululu restaurants, and learnt more about the history of this fascinating island with guided tours of Valletta and Mdina.
