Luxury Irish resort Dromoland Castle has been attracting rock stars and royalty for decades and this week the hotel was presented with a signed Johnny Cash menu which had been given to former head chef Sheila Hurley. Cash stayed at the luxury Irish resort with his wife June Carter during his European Tour covering the UK and Ireland in 1975. One of our clients had an unexpected visit from rock royalty this week when U2 came to stay, after heavy snow prevented them from returning to Dublin airport as planned. Bono and his band of merry men were travelling home to the Emerald Isle for Christmas after a five-week tour of Australia when they were told the plane would have to divert to Shannon airport instead.
